If you have the Professional Edition, you can record your own audio narration and synchronizing them with the presentation.
To do this, open the presentation that you wish to comment, then use the Project/Record Talk Over menu.
A window will pop up that offers several actions:
- Start recording: This is the first available action. Click to start recording the audio commentary.
- Preview Talk Over: This button is activated once the recording was made. You can preview the presentation in its entirety to verify that the comment is correct and well synchronized with the presentation.
- Save Talk Over track: When the commentary is recorded and previewed, click this button to save it on the current presentation. This will replace all other music by the commentary and change the various "On Click" events to the timed events recorded.
- Configure Microphone: This button allows you to make various settings on your microphone.
When you start recording the commentary, the presentation will be played in "Talk Over mode". The presentation is played in a normal manner, and on the right you can see the microphone level, and this lets you know if you have to speak louder.
Press space bar to change slide or display "on Click" objects. These clicks will be recorded to be reproduced identically when the presentation will be replayed.
