One feature which is implemented in allot of development software is layers.

Lets say I wanted to have a page that has text move into and out of a position to be replaced by the next text set. Currently this is difficult as the text boxes all go over the top of each other and I have to physically move a larger box that's over a smaller text box to access the smaller one. A simple layers feature would allow fast switching between text sets.
